The UK’s highest ‘people management’ standard is met by specialist systems and business services expert
22nd July, 2013, London: Civica, a market leader in specialist systems and business process services that help organisations transform the way they work, has succeeded in gaining the Investors in People Gold Accreditation. This latest award is testament to the company’s on-going success and commitment to supporting staff and customers alike.
Investors in People (IiP) is Britain’s premier standard in people management, and only 3.5% of all accreditations achieve the gold level. IiP auditors reviewed and benchmarked employee practices and management effectiveness against the best in UK practice, across all the company’s British operations. The accolade also recognises the particular attention the company gives to employee development policies including training programmes operated across the Civica group’s 16 offices around the UK.
Civica chief executive Simon Downing said: “We are delighted to receive the Investors in People Gold Accreditation, which recognises our focus on developing and supporting our people together with the commitment of everyone at Civica. Our team and their focus on doing well for customers represents a core strength which is recognised by customers, and this award demonstrates our progress with continual improvement as we have grown to over 2,000 employees.”

In addition to the IiP’s recognition, a recent audit of the Civica Group Ltd by ISOQAR - a leading provider of audit and certification services - highlighted the company’s commitment to achieving high standards of management practice as demonstrated by other accreditations including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001.
